A little about his story....It was December 2014, just a few days before Christmas.

It had been a long night working at a Christmas party, Marcus, who was still dressed as Santa coming from his job, found himself helping a friend who was experiencing car trouble.

It was then that he had an encounter with two men at a downtown Detroit gas station that changed the entire trajectory of his life.

After being shot at by these two men, he was forced to use deadly force of his own.

He was in a place he had a legal right to be.
He was not in the commission of a crime.
He was not the aggressor in the situation.
He was in definite fear of great bodily harm or death.

All the “boxes” were checked. He fired his gun – shooting back at his attackers – dialed 911 and waited for help to arrive. It was all captured on film. We should mention that this was not a fatal shoot. Everyone, including both attackers, survived the situation.

It was then that his whole life changed. Even though he was trained and legally licensed to carry a gun, he was treated like a criminal and called 'The Santa Shooter'. The story made news locally, and even nationally in the New York Times when he was first arrested.

A law abiding citizen with a CPL now found himself jailed, being charged with seven felonies for his actions. He was looking at 30 years in prison. For a single father raising his 6 year old daughter, taking a plea was not an option. He was innocent of any wrong doing and he chose to fight the charges.

After almost two long years of being under public scrutiny, house arrest and on a tether, he was finally exonerated and found not guilty by a jury of his peers on those seven felony counts, two of them being attempted murder.

Join us as Marcus details his fight for freedom against a criminal system intent on unjustly prosecuting him, and the things he wished he knew as a Michigan Concealed Carry CPL License holder.

You can learn more about him on his website www.MarcusWeldon.com or buy the book on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Santa-Shooter-Guilty-Proven-Innocent-ebook/dp/B071HVN1J1

Hope to see you all there!!

Michigan CPL Renewal

www.Michigan-CPL-Renewal.com - Renewal Applicants are REQUIRED to do a 3-hour review of the required training & 1-hour of range time BEFORE renewing!!

URGENT - IF YOU ANSWER NO to question 11 on the renewal application, because “you never had to do this before” (you did, you just didn’t read) the state will take your money - the state will send you a denial letter.

The state will then require you to take another full 8 hour CPL class in order to reapply EVEN IF your CPL is currently valid.

They will NOT credit you the $115 you already paid and you’ll have to pay it again when you reapply after taking another 8 hour class.

That’s an over $400 mistake.

PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE and adequately complete that training requirement!!

Taking an an actual class is not required! You are welcome to self-study to meet the state training requirement for renewing your license.

Our Video-on-Demand course is 3 hours long, you can stop and start it at your convenience - watch all at once or in...
