The new and improved Detroit Arms clubhouse is located just off Gratiot & 21 Mile in sunny downtown Chesterfield, MI. Being on such a major thoroughfare it's not unusual to hear hoards of motorcycles rumble past several times an hour.

We had a student in class recently that was clearly an amateur meteorologist (or something) and must have been carefully monitoring the rain storm that was coming (per the actual meteorologist on TV).

Every time a group of bikes rolled passed he jumped up out of his seat and ran out into the foyer to check the sky - he thought it was thunder.

Turns out he had left his car windows down and was worried about getting rained out in his car.

Once I figured out what was going on (3rd time he came running to the door) I said, "why don't you just go out and roll up your windows?"

His answer......wait for it...."why would I do that?"
